Re: Jamily Fashion Threads
No no no...I am forever confused that I can't get the laces back in my son's shoes the same way they came out. This will be very useful to refer to! ![]()
Don't even get me started! Some people have a shoe fettish......me it's light fixtures ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsI love shoes but I'll bet you like this lamp!
It was my Grandma's. I always wanted it, and asked for it! It's very retro, not sure what era. ![]() Last edited by Giba7 on Wed Apr 18, 2012 6:51 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsIs it wrong to buy yourself a heart necklace?! Or wait forever for it?
![]() ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsYou bet I do! Nice teak probably 1960ish. I have lots of danish teak... but this is a fashion thread so I'll shutup!
Well like the commercial says.......I'm worth it!! Very sweet heart necklace....it also reminds me of a whale fluke! Nature inspired! ![]() Hey I see cds in the background.....is this your womans den?
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsHey, if I had to wait until somebody bought me something pretty, I'd never have any. So buy yourself anything beautiful you can get your hands on and that necklace is just to beautiful!!
Re: Jamily Fashion Threads@ Giba - that heart necklace is gorgeous! Not wrong to buy it for yourself - go for it!
![]() And who knew there were so many ways to tie shoe laces? ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion Threadsin recent news: i'm trying to dress more rockabilly! (eh, what?)
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsYeah, what's "rockabilly" dress/style?? ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion Threadsnecklace -thanks!

Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsNice chick cave.......a wet bar and music, ......is that some silver too? (referring to the receiver)
and 70's houses were better built than the 80's and 90's so a better frame to renovate! Just my opinion.......some 70s stuff definetly has to go ![]() ![]() @ CosmicLea.............I think out of us all Stormey has the most rockabilly style with her love of pinup 40's girls...and her curves ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion Threads
It's a Yamaha receiver, it was my mom's back in the 80s! It still works, so why replace it! I like the Rockabilly look, reminds me of the Fonz! (Happy days) Stormey rocks that era! Dan Auerbach tries, just don't end up looking like Lady Gaga's alter ego! ![]() http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/166986 ... vmas.jhtml
Re: Jamily Fashion Threadshehehe..didn't know I rockabilly rocked that area..but maybe you are right. I always say I am wearing vintage. It's a pitty I am really bad in making pictures of my hair. Yesterday I had a frontroll bandana, which makes a lot of heads turn..not sure if it is because they like it or hate it, but I love it!
frontroll bandana ![]() Today I am going to practice my victoryrolls ![]() I think I can make a pretty good Pompadour, but I have a very high forehead so it is not the best style for me. ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion Threadsso wrong, but so much fun...blue curacao nailpolish
![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsWow, Stormey, the frontroll bandana and victory rolls hairstyles are amazing! Can you style your hair like that by yourself?
![]() I had about 4 inches cut off the length of my hair yesterday and I'm getting used to it! My hair still goes past my shoulders though. ![]() Nice blue nail polish! I used to wear electric blue nail polish on my toes when I was a teenager! ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsThe frontroll Bandana is easy to make, but the victory rolls are still a bit of a challange. There are a lot of video's on Youtube to learn them though. My hair is still a bit to short for Veronica waves
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsMy Pandora bracelet is completed! Yay! finally!
![]() My friend gave me a lovely Pandora bead for my birthday and I only needed one more to fill my bracelet up. It's very pretty, I'd never seen it before as it is from the new collection: http://www.pandora.net/en-au/explore/products/charms#790956
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsCosmiclea -awesome! post a pic!
Re: Jamily Fashion Threads
Nice bead......called Create and Combine......did your friend pick it for the look or the message? Lucky you for finishing......now what... start a second one? ![]() ![]() @ Stormey ....that is some cool nailpolish ![]() ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsShe chose it for the look. Very sweet of her and she didn't realize my bracelet was almost full! I don't plan on starting a new bracelet at the moment, but you never know, maybe a special birthday in a couple of years! ![]() http://www.pandora.net/en-au/explore/products/necklaces-and-pendants#590318MP-48 I used to wear my pandora bracelet every day when I first got it and only had 2 charms! Curse_t, I would suggest getting 2 clip beads next to divide the bracelet into 3 sections. That will keep your 2 charms together rather than sliding all around the bracelet! I filled the middle section up first. ![]()
Re: Jamily Fashion ThreadsGot a new dress
![]() ![]() And a new top..the colour is COSMIC...who can resist that! I have one in Jameroquai green, so I needed a cosmic blue too ![]()
