I just checked out the other rooms to that Rock n' Roll hotel.
Yes they are very busy rooms, dizzying.
But I do love the Honky Tonk Afro, and it has a glitter ball! (I love lime green!)
And Chapter and Verse is awesome too!

I had a pleasant surprise Saturday morning. I was going to watch TV. Tried the news, but it was the same as the day before. So I started channel surfing.

I stopped when it brought up Jamiroquai in concert! It was the AVO (I think) concert in Basel from September. I have not seen Jamiroquai on TV for years! That was the last thing I expected to find. I have a DVR so I recorded it too!

I have no idea what the show was. It was on this funky channel that usually only plays this strange show called "Classic Arts Showcase" which can be anything from Kate Smith singing "God Bless America" to Hamlet. It said it was "PopVox" a German music program. That might have been correct, but the directory usually doesn't match what's on that channel. So I don't know if that was it or not. It was only 30 minutes long too. So I don't think it was the whole concert. But I was happy!

How come I NEVER hear JMQ on the radio?? Never. Or when I'm shopping. I'm jealous.

I was watching VH1's "100 Greatest Songs of the 90's". Virtual Insanity was number 70. Of course, I think it should be number 1. That's my fav JMQ song. But it beat out Bare Naked Ladies' One Week (I love that song) and even Cher's "Do you Believe in Love". But Will Smith and Get Jiggy with It beat Jamiroquai!!!! Come on!!!

I was SO disappointed on the VH1 show though. For each song they did a little thing on each artist and what they are up to now, etc. For Jamiroquai they hardly said anything! It was the shortest segment they had on the show. The latest thing they had was that they made the Guinness Book of World Records for doing that concert on the airplane in 2007. They didn't mention RDLS.

I was wondering about that. But they updated lots of the other artists on there, so I was hoping they would update Jamiroquai too. No such luck . . .

I don't think so! Not sure that he ever did! Heidi Klum was married to the English singer, Seal, for 7 years but they separated a few months ago.
