Okay, so these are the shoes from the 80's (moms). Made in Brazil! I love them but the other shoe heel is broken, and just 1/2 size too small!


And these are my practical pant boots, for snow or rain, and they are adjustable in width, to fit thin or fat pants.

I like your black boots. I need a pair with a heel like that too, I currently have a pair to wear over jeans with a small heel, but as we know, I need the height! I do have a dressy pair with a higher heel, but they're not for everyday wear. I love wearing boots over my jeans in winter - I remember when bootleg jeans were in fashion (wearing boots under) and if it rained, they would end up getting soaked through at the hems (just awful!)

So, my friends who have just had a northern hemisphere winter - were coloured jeans popular? It looks like they'll be big here this winter, practically every clothing shop is selling them!

I bought a wine coloured (or burgundy) pair of skinny jeans yesterday. I love them! It's a little outside the box for me, I usually only wear blue denim or black jeans.
But what to wear them with is a bit tricky, I'll only team them with black tops because I'm very particular about clothes that go together!

@ CosmicLea- Black is what I would wear with burgundy also. It is a tricky colour. I have quite a few pair of skinny jeans...when it is really cold it is easy to pair high boots with them. But I find it tricky to pair them with shoes when it is mild out...my feet end up looking so big....usually wear a pair of slip on vans. What do you put on your feet when you wear skinny jeans?

When it's really cold, I wear long boots over skinny jeans too (a small heel for everyday wear). Last winter I did buy a pair of ankle boots with an elegant heel to wear under, looks a bit dressier for going out. But I do have knee-high heeled boots I wear over them too (only when going out). In milder weather I wear them with ballet flats. Wearing them with flip-flops is popular here too.

I used to think that skinny jeans would only go with high heels, because anything else will make your feet look enormous. But in winter I wear my skinnies with over the knee boots, with hardly a heel, otherwise it might look like I want to sell myself
now if only skinny jeans would make me skinny

I don't think we have the colored denim skinny jeans here -usually black or jean.
But I think burgundy could work with a cream or grey (solid) top too!
Definitely wear the knee high skinny boot over it. And when it's mild, the ballet flat.
They do make your feet appear larger. Maybe wear a heel for going out.

The skinny jeans are great, but the leggings are too revealing (like selling myself! ), and I don't have enough tops that cover low enough!

Coloured jeans are one of this Spring's trend here... but denim jeans are too!

but these are the ones I can't wait to wear -summer dress heel -Nina

Cool! Burgundy is all I'm game enough to try though, I'll leave the red, electric blue, green and yellow jeans to the teenagers! (Those colours are not my style anyway)

I sence CosmicLea is a conservative but classy dresser........ No Jamiroquai green or purple for you? I am pretty conservative myself..... you have to be @ this age but I do throw on the yellow, orange and JMQ green when I am feeling cheeky not all @ once though

Yes, I am more on the conservative side when it comes to colour (and overall dress in general!) However, I do love clothes with sequins/rhinestones/lurex when going out (probably as adventurous as I'll get!)

I collect pendants (or started). I have a great silver necklace and several interchangeable medallion/jewels for the neck.
