Okay, don't shoot me for this post -also I couldn't find it if it already existed! So who do you think Jamiroquai could do a great duet with (single?) I know they've just released RDLS, but I think they should do another single release with a female artist. Don't laugh, I thought hard about who would be the right person. I think Fergie. She has a huge U.S. fan-base. She's actually a talented singer, and is very flexible (with her voice). She can sing many different genres. She could be great for a Jamiroquai song. Maybe.

Fergie is an excellent choice. She has a good voice and she'd look good next to JK (Americans are fascinated with that 'ish). Here are some other choices:
Lady Gaga - She's "THE ARTIST" right now and she actually has a very good voice
Nicki Minaj - They could do a re-mix of SAFP with Nic providing some saucy rap. If done right this could be fire. Again, she's pretty and would look good next to J. They'd have to do a video
Gwen Stefani - I'm old school so I had to throw her in there. I LOVE her energy.
Lauryn Hill - Again, an old school pick. I saw her in concert recently and she still has fire.
I'll keep thinking. I know there's some female that I'm not thinking about that would be perfect.

Shaolin!Great! (I thought I'd get shot down for suggesting Fergie! But this isn't Jamirotalk!) I think we should run the promotions for the U.S. since they certainly are lacking. Also -I like Nikki Minaj & Gwen Stafani. Black Capricorn No it doesn't need to be a girl. These are just suggestions anyways!

I never thought of Jay's voice as good for a duet, but I'd go for Duffy.

Well, call it a collaboration. Not a love song duet.
I like Duffy now, but she can get a bit whiny.

Just a figure of speech! It means she could probably handle more liquor than Jay! But I guess it does sound funny if you've never heard that saying! Most people could drink me under the table! I'm a lightweight. But I'm not saying Jay is a lightweight. Just that she's a boozer!

Really, I'm innocent. I wouldn't post something to insinuate that! It's simply a common figure of speech.

No -Rihanna would be a great duet. She's young and U.S., and hip-hop -crossover audience. She's got a great following. And she is probably the best female voice out there today. And she gives the best live performances.

My thoughts on the duet thing... I actually prefer Jay Kay performing solo..but if he had to do a duet with someone I wouldn´t mind seeing Anastacia or Roisin Murphy on his side

I didn't know Anastacia is from Chicago! Her song "Paid My Dues" reminds me of En Vogue. Duet doesn't need to happen! Just for conversation sake!
