My favorite food is always changed. I usually loves Indonesian (Javanese) traditional food. My favorite food this time is kerupuk paru (I don't know what's the name on english)

P.S: It's made of cow's lung

I have no problem with eating animal organs, in fact I enjoy cow and sheep liver and kidneys sometimes, but I never heard of anyone eating lungs till now.

It's a cow's lung fried 3 times until it's dried, no water on it, till it's crispy, so it's like a cracker... (not this cracker! )

I know it'll be shocking and disgusting, if you're not Indonesian but it's a popular snack in Indonesia, especially Central Java, and as far as I know it's not available in other countries...so visit Indonesia & try it yourself!
It's delicious, I promise!

I'm from Bosnia.
It's not that I'm shocked, just that it's the first time I heard of people eating lungs really! Anyways, not like we don't eat some pretty disgusting things ourselves, cow brains (understandably less than before the whole cow madness business), cow and fish eyeballs to name a few.
Also, it was quite a surprise for me to hear that people in the West rarely eat some "garden pest" plants, like nettle and dandelion leaves, "wild onions" and the like, which we use practically all the time they're in season.

I heard that people outside eats cow brains & eyeballs... the eyeballs sounds disgusting but I wanna try cow's brain I love extreme foods... I also want to try some fried grasshoppers too... It's not something that you can eat on a restaurant (except on Thailand), or served on the dining table...it's easy to prepare and easy to cook!

People eat grasshoppers in the military here xD (Or at least used to - I remember my dad telling me about it and how they taste almost like popcorn)

My Mom & Dad used to eat it when they was a child... And they says it tastes like shrimp tempura (Yum!)
