Postby Jamispwishoquai on Sat Feb 16, 2008 6:58 pm

James Marsh, the artist that designed the mural on the inside sleeve of "Emergency on Planet Earth" is releasing a run of limited edition 4ft x 2ft canvasses with Official Certificates of Authentication available through The Art Bay - story is there will only be 100.

How did I get to hear this one? Well they also does a line of Original Print Mugs featuring the same James Marsh artwork, they are stunning I have one myself.

Check their website out at www.theartbay.co.uk and click the Jamiroquai link.

James Marsh is one of the top UK artists, you can pay £5 plus just for postcard sized prints these days. Imagine having 1 off only 100 ever printed hanging on your wall.

Aside from the Jamiroquai interest they should make a solid investment - how much is a limited edition Warhol print these days?

I've heard that there are plans to release a 36" x 18" version on photographic paper may also be available in the near future - Speak to The Art Bay they will advise.

Ordered my Limited Edition Print this morning and there's more to this story.

James Marsh is supplying his own High Resolution Artwork (increased clarity) and will be signing each print personally - that's in addition to the COA from James Marsh and The Art Bay.

Furthermore, James Marsh has agreed to an open ended print run of smaller version on photographic paper, just for the fans. Apparently, the print should be around the same size as the original album gatefold - The Art Bay can advise on the actual size.

Must go have a large wall to sand down and decorate in prepartion for the arrival of my new wallpaper ;)
