Hi everyone, it would be great if we could all vote for JMQ in this poll...
Between 21-28 May over 200 commercial radio stations in the UK are celebrating the best of UK music as part of UK Music Week. The official site is at http://www.myspace.com/ukmwofficial and you can nominate and vote for Jamiroquai in a countdown of the top 40 greatest UK artists of all time - with the results broadcast on 27 May. For information, in last years chart Jamiroquai finished in 14th place.
To vote for JMQ, just go to http://www.ukmusicweek.co.uk/thegreatest/
In addition to voting for the band, UK radio networks Kiss, Galaxy and Choice are set to feature Jamiroquai in some of this weeks broadcasts.

Thanks, Samantha, you are the greatest! I voted. The only thing that puzzles me that there is no "Whitesnake" and the greatest band of all times-Pink Floyd. But, there are some mmmm....people, not artists, not musicians, on that list...Such a shame.

Today (Sunday) on UK radio the "Top 40 Greatest UK Artists Of All Time" chart was announced as part of UK Music Week 2007 - a celebration of the best of UK music. Over 200 UK radio stations were involved and fans were invited to vote for their favourite UK artists.
Well, I'm really pleased to let people know that Jamiroquai finished at number 2 (yes, number 2) in this chart. The winner was Will Young. This is a fantastic result for the band and I am sure they appreciate and thank everyone who voted for them. For those interested, Jamiroquai finished in 14th place last year.
