Ive been thinking... Now the english music charts are based on sales AND internet downloads... we should all pick one track and aim to get it to the top of the charts  If we posted this message on any Jami websites... Just imagine, we could aim to get a jami track at number 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 all on the same week  (I was told this week a UK DJ got loads of listeners to vote for one song to see if it was true, and it did enter the chart at 17 or something  )

I think that would be a great way to thank the entire band and even ex band members buy getting some of the early tracks up there...

Would you get involved in something like that? Wonder how many downloads have to be completed to get in top 5? Ill look into that... Wonder if there really are enough fans around the world to make it possible?

:)

Hmmm found this... might be a big ask then

Q4. How many singles and albums are sold each week?

A. Sales of singles and albums vary from year to year and from month to month. On average 1m singles and 3m albums are sold each week.

As a rough average of the past decade, a Number One record has sold approximately 133,000 copies per week. Sales of 25,000 have been sufficient to reach the Top 10 - particularly during early January when sales are traditionally lower.
