Space Cowboy on Vh1, some years ago. I had already known Jamiroquai (by one of my cousins), but when i heard space cowboy, i became an addicted for that song and later for the band (all songs)

Cosmic Girl & Alright i had like 10 years old

These two songs were going to be in my post as well. I remember seeing Virtual Insanity all over MTV when it came out, but when I randomly listened to the album in Block Buster Music looking for something new it was 'Cosmic Girl' and 'Alright' that sealed the deal.

Don't remember if I replied in this thread, but Cosmic GIrl was my first Jamiroquai song!
It was love at first "heard"! hahaha and it is still the song I love the most these days!
I was like 10 years old when i heard it first time, and i'm 23 rite now! 13 years ago!
and now i'm missing that band...

It's funny when first time I heard Jamiroquai... FJLIS was on a compilation cassette in my Dad's car. One day he's go to the barbershop & leaves me in the car, but don't turn off the cassette player. I open the glove box, the place where my dad stores his cassette, and I picked one casssette & play it. Then it plays FJLIS. I read the band's name "Jamiroquai" and I thought JMQ was a trip-hop band, like Gorillaz, and the singer was a black Craig David-ish man in his late 20s. Then I saw a Wikipedia article of JMQ, that proved that anything I thought was wrong... I saw a photo of JK too, and I surprised that he's white, and he's just few months younger than my Dad (then Jay was 35, my Dad's 36)

I also got surprised first time I saw "Too Young to Die" vid, coz Jay is very much different than what I know!

the first ones were space cowboy and virtual insanity.. after those BUUUM i was already listening the three albums.. then it came out canned heat and i was like NO WAYYYY OH-MY-GOD (like janice from firneds ahahha), IM A HUGE FAN RIGHT NOW - FROM THAT MOMENT ON ahhahaha
