He does seem like a swell guy!
And I know he plays drums and guitar.
Haven't heard him sing, does he?

From funkin.com:

Nick van Gelder releases new album
Added on Tuesday 21 August 2012, 07:41 (BST)

Nick van Gelder, one of the original members of Jamiroquai who played drums and guitar on the Emergency On Planet Earth album and also co-wrote the track If I Like It I Do It has just released a new album.

Groovitas is now available on iTunes where you can also listen to previews of the tracks online.

A little more information about Nick, his involvement with Jamiroquai and what he did since leaving the band can be read at his MySpace page and if you're a regular reader of funkin.com you'll probably already have seen the superb early live Jamiroquai live recordings he's posted on YouTube, but if not, then they are well worth a listen.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I downloaded the album from iTunes yesterday and love it! It is filled with sublime grooves! You won't be disappointed, especially if you love Jamiroquai's early music. :D

I saw his first album in reckless records - london a few months ago. Also, checked his demo's for recent album on the net - 2005. I was there at one of those early gigs - with all my friends. Recorded it on video, - the beat.

so, I did buy Groovitas. And I really love it! It's great!
There's a good flow to the album.
It's a groovy, jazzy type of album that makes for a great drive or something you throw on and play through.
Lots of brass and different guest artists (which make up all the vocals).
Nick is the engineer and producer -he does it all!

I wish success for all the members from Jamiroquai.
