Which concerts will you attend soon?

Talk about music - songs/albums that you love, and the ones that you don't.

So Madonna tix go on sale tomorrow.
So funny, they send me the info to lockin pre-sale, but omit the passcode!

Yes, I would consider seeing her after all these years!
The ticket range is $48 -$358  yikes!
She'd better be serving me cocktails for that price!

Wow, the Madonna tickets are very expensive. I'd hate to think how much they'll be if she tours Australia. I paid $63 for my ticket when she came here in 1993 (she's only toured Australia once) and that was a lot of money for that time!
I wonder what sort of tickets you would get for $48 though, they couldn't be too crash hot!

The Taylor Swift concert was fantastic, very spectacular! We had a great time, we went out to dinner before the concert. My daughter and her friends were on their feet dancing and singing for almost the entire 2 hrs 15 mins concert! She really is an excellent performer and I was very impressed with the way she connected with the audience. My daughter showed me what Taylor tweeted straight after the concert:
"@taylorswift13
MELBOURNE NIGHT 2- YOU WERE SO LOUD, I HAD TO WRITE IT IN ALL CAPS. What a pleasure, getting to play for a crowd like that."

$48 aint so bad, but they are probably seats behind a big fat pillar! Remember..Madonna needs to pay bills to and she thinks we all buy $ 300 bags every week

  yeah I remember that quote!
The $100 ticket may be worth it. I mean, it is her hometown and I've never seen her.
I still think "Burning Up" is her best tune though.
So far got 4 of us; me, my sister, and 2 gay guys! We'll see if we get tickets!
but can't figure out the presale code :?

oh dang! just found out my bro-in-law bought 4 tix to the Madonna show as a surprise to my sister!
(what a husband) So I'm out! (cuz he's going) :( Unless I find someone else to go!
but he said the lower bowl tix were $300, and main floor was like $700.
I told him about Madonna serving me cocktails for that price,
he said he wanted a bj for that price! I hope that's not too raunchy

I hope you can still get Madonna tix, Giba (if you really want!)
"Burning Up" is a great song. "True Blue" was my favourite since I was 12 and I love "Cherish" as well. And I can't forget "Into The Groove" - that one is a classic. :)

So, Giba, since you come from the same hometown as Madonna, do you have any friends/family that knew her growing up?

No, I don't think I'll be going. But it's fine! Glad they're going.

she is older than me, but when she hit big, there'd always be someone who knew her!

I loved it, loved it so much. The guy is such a good musician, he doesn't need a strange outfit or lots of fireworks. Just down to earth good music and that amzing voice of him! He's got a lot of soul for a white man 8)

This one made me cry. The song started and it made me think of Balto. I couldn't remember if I kissed her goodbye at the vet. I don't know why my head would go there when I am having a good time. Music, it is such a powerful thing.

@ Stormey - Oh yes, sorry to hear about the song that reminded you of Balto and made you cry. :(
I'm sure Balto knew how much you loved and cared for her.

that's the stupid part about all of it. I know that it is of no importance if I kissed her or not. I did stroke her all the time and made sure I told the vet all good things about my girl. And I know it is what you did during her life and not after she died, that's the silly part about it. Just need to get it out of my system, I guess.
Thanks girls for not making me feel more stupid!

So not to depres the topic..next friday I am goig to Jonathan Jeremiah. This is more a joice of my friends, but hey..I don't mind going. Its Paradiso, I can easily go there every week and eat at Waggamamma's. No problem :D

So, Stormey, what type of food do they have at Wagamama's? I've noticed a few popping up around Melbourne but haven't eaten there before (none close to where I live though.)

It is basicly a japanese or asian restaurant and here in Amsterdam you don't have your own table. You'll sit at long tables and you get your food as it's done, not as the food for your whole party is done. very free spirited, I like that. It's fun to eat there and the food is soooooooo good! check out our Amsterdam menu http://www.wagamama.nl/asset/nl/files/l ... 12_web.pdf

Looking for music festivals recently near me and found Sasquatch.........didn't recognise many on the bill but Jack White and Jack Black(Tenacious D) will be there!! 8) I had to laugh at one of the bands listed named Com Truise. Kinda reminiscent of the band Jaspberry Ram. Hmmm.........will it be enough to travel to Seattle? I dunno, we will see. :? Image
Great gig poster.........and rightly sponsored by Kokanee!

@ Curse_t -I would love to see Jack White live!
and Beck would be awesome. Whatever happened to him all these years?
He's the one who made his album in his kitchen. He's such a loser!
