I know this song since 1 year, but i prefere the "Hippie Sabotage Remix" (the most known in France). I love it in the end of parties, at the beginning of the morning The best way to describe (saddely ?) the actual generation !

I've really been getting into the tribute band scene with my photography. Many of these bands have prompted me to listen to and download music from the bands they pay tribute to. For example, I've never really been a fan of Marilyn Manson. But a current (and I believe the only) L.A. based tribute to Marilyn Manson, known as Mechanical Manson, is SO INCREDIBLE! I can't help but be reminded of how cool some of that music really is...so yeah, I'm now a fan.

the Beautiful People, the Beautiful People! @Erin I liked some stuff from the '90's! He just maybe needed more original songs and less presentation. but that's great your photography is doing well -music is a part of so much!

Just saw "Amy" - the Amy Winehouse documentary and the Nina Simone documentary "What happened Miss Simone?" on Netflix - I highly recommend music lovers to watch both. Both films have great insight into the creative process and struggles of being an artist. And of course, the music in both is amazing.

@Erin - are you going to Marilyn Manson's upcoming concert in LA? I think it is at the Ace hotel downtown.
@Giba - thinking of seeing Aretha Sunday just because it's Aretha.

sounds good! Go see Aretha! she'd be a legend to see. I do think her voice is suffering a bit these days, but she always had a rough voice. I've wanted to see her, never did!

@Giba - I really like that Zero 7 remix. "Destiny" is one of my favorite Zero 7 songs - actually it is how I discovered them and Sia. I love this Zero 7 song below - Morning Song - it is a tad glum in the intro - but from 3:47 on - the instrumentals just stirs my soul. I will just play that part over and over - it just makes me happy. The entire song just literally plays like a morning when you start off groggy and grumpy and by time you've had your shower and coffee and are dressed and the sun is out and things start looking up. Just listen to 3:47 on if the intro is too slow -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yW6hDj1E-A

Yes please check out Zero 7 - it is mellow yet inspiring music - and comforting when I am in that ftw mode. I recommend "in the waiting line" - it was in an sex & the city (sex & the city used a lot of Zero 7 songs in pivotal episodes; even some JAM songs were featured in episodes - "main vein" was in a really great episode about Miranda getting her sexy back post-baby. lol Zero 7 songs I like from their "Simple Things" Album in addition to "destiny": "in the waiting line" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jj6yXxVc21Y" Likufanele" - has this afrocentric/ Roy Ayers vibe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtBu7vGsGv8"Spinning" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cis6zSt1Iyk Sia is just lovely on this song. Listening to it now. But check out all their albums. Their entire albums just flow. I mentioned "Somersault" featuring Sia on earlier post - love that song and many others on their "When it Falls" album.
