I can totally see that!! Although, I think Marvin Gaye was a bit taller. (?)
Nonetheless, musically, I think Kravitz will definitely impress the masses!!

Yes Marvin seemed quite tall! They'll have to put Lenny in the silver boots! :D

Hey GF, Lenny Kravitz as Marvin?!?! uuggh I love some of Lenny's stuff but Marvin just exuded sensuality and sex and swagger - Kravitz is too clean cut. Also, no disrespect but Marvin kind of went off his rockers a bit - I do not think Lenny has enough edge to portray Marvin going off the deep end with his coke addiction, his rampant paranoia and many many demons.

And geez, Marvin was soooooo fine; as beautiful as his voice. My mother-in-law saw him in Sweden back in the day waaay before I was born and said he was drop dead gorgeous. He'd be on my free pass list if he were alive (or maybe not because ugggh musicians and stds - read too many rock bios.)

Also just saw "wolf of wall street" - makes me want to give guys an std test on spot. hahaha! sorry I'm a pretty bird with a dirty bird mind. :-)

didn't see this comment! I think Lenny could pull it off -he does have a lot of swagger and sexuality! He's not a duplicate of Marvin, but he'd be acting a different role. Marvin seemed very calm and collective, and persuasive.

I think Lenny could do just fine

well I never heard more of the Biopic, but Bootsy posting this video of Marvin Gaye, interviewed by Tom Joyner. He's high af, and is holding out for a "good girl" (which he also references in Dream of a Lifetime.) What a double standard :P
Marriage and Love is miserable, but sex is marvelous :)
