Let Jamiroquai take you on a White Knuckle Ride. Come here to talk about anything related to the new album...|
Glasgow in April, Rome in July, hat trick completed today with tickets bought for Antewrp in December, Scottish Saltire will be flying high again as the Mrs and me fly in from Aberdeen, Scotland.
Will be in Amsterdam for a tear up on Friday night then through to Antewrp Saturday for the final gig of 2011 before flying back to Aberdeen on the Sunday, will be superb as always. Already have my Welsh buddy Andrew and his gang coming along so look out!
Anyone else flying in for the gig??..................

Looking good for us all, will be memorable for sure. Currently in the US on holiday with family in Orlando. Have had the tour t-shirts on and getting the loks from Mickey Mouse and co with thumbs up - spreading the word with the i-pod base box and my Jamiroquai playlist on at the pool also, all is defo good in the hood. Hopefully weather for getting out of Aberdeen won't be an issue, Arctic conditions forecast alsready!
Saw them in Turin and London O2 in April and both brilliant ...can't wait for the Antwerp Gig . Notice tickets are un numbered seating ....does anyone know how fare ahead I should get there roughly to get a good spot?
Our tickets just show a number with no seating reference, would be surprised if it is an all seater venue? Anyway, my wife and I plan on getting there early doors to get near the front, probably around 6:30pm, will be the one with the Scottish Saltire flag so say hello! Might be rough though after the night before in Amsterdam!
i knew booking this trip from outside of europe was 50/50 since some previous concerts have been cancelled this year and anything can happen from there on till december (like health, weather and etc) but i been so excited about this concert and now finding out about the bad news today has crushed me and undecided on what to do now
i would like to believe this is just a rumor or misinformative so i can remain hopeful, the reason for the cancellation seems odd and also there is still plenty of time to reconsider this gig
please jamiroquai don't back down on antwerp, it is the last concert of the year...if there are issues regarding this, please compromise or re-arrange another location for the 3rd or on that weekend...please don't let the fans down, especially those who come so far
due to logistical problems. How come they can't fix that in the month to come? Now we are stuck with the logistical problems, because most of us are flying in from another country to see this show.
If somebody in the band get ill, I can deal with that. This seems unnecessary.
How can this be?!?!?
I have literally been dreaming of Jamiroquai almost every night since I bought my ticket. Every single morning I wake up with your music in my head. This was my reward for working hard all year. It was the light at the end of a long tunnel.
What sort of logistics can't be worked out in 5 weeks? There must be an alternate venue. Please reschedule anywhere in W. Europe for that evening. I will go almost anywhere to see you guys if I can fly there within 7 hours.
Better yet, come to the US. I live in DC. I will cook dinner for you and your crew. What's your favorite meal? I make a really great lasagna, spinach pie and tiramisu. I will take you on a personal tour of DC, the sites, the national monuments, the museums. Ever been to the Spy Museum? It's here in DC!
What will it take for me to get my Jamiroquai fix??? I'm soooo sad:-(.
Oh, I'd be upset if I had tickets to Europe from U.S. too!
This is Soooo sweet!
Jamiroquai are welcome here too! But I don't think I want to be busy cooking!
Maybe someone in the band is having difficulties with VISA.
Granted that these things happen but is really disappointing as had scheduled work and other commitments around this. Never mid the memories of Glasgow and Rome I will carry with hope that we meet again in 2012, might look at the Paris gig as anther option now.
It does seem a bit odd that logistical differences are cited as the reason, ticket sales hsould have been decent enough to justify going ahead but we will never know. To keep the 5 mile smile on our faces check out the link below, as good as a live DVD we will get for the RDLS tour!................
Andrew my Welsh friend from Rome - smetime soon Sir, sometime soon..............
Well to say gutted would be an understatement ! My friends are very annoyed and so am I .Was looking forward to meeting up with Bazza and sharing a few beers at the gig ,but hey ho . IF the concert is rescheduled to next year we`ll be there concerts are too awkward to go for the rest of this year so have have a good un Baz n hope to see you next year .
Just got back from Houston on business and see the band are playing Sydney for the New Year. Hold on, Antwerp, Sydney - huh?! So much for logistical issues, must have been a Lotto Arena issue therefore a venue change would have suited most fans flying in for the gig.
Never mind, have a cool yule all - just over 4 weeks until the boy comes down the chimney....................see y'all in the New Year hopefully at the re-arranged gig!
Yes Bazza you hit it right on head of the nail , looks like Sydney is more important than Antwerp ! And its my birthday today and I was singing away in my car to main vien and canned heat bummer ! .If I had know it wasnt going ahead in antwerp earlier could have arranged one of the fench gigs , double poo ! Have a god crimbo you and your family .
Happy birthday Andrew - 21 again huh?! Bad timing or what, I am in Paris next week with work and the Paris gig is tonight, was just not meant to be but for sure 2012 will be!
Have a great birthday and all the very best to you and yours for the festivities as we roll into 2012
