Lifeline chart position

What the hell is going on here. All three of the singles released so far from the new album have failed catastrophically in the uk charts. Blue skies, White knuckle ride and Lifeline have all failed miserably to get a decent chart position. Don't know why but something is wrong. :( I'm unhappy. All three of these songs are better than most of the junk which currently dominates the charts.

That's really sad indeed but thing is: people tend to love easier things. And the junk on those charts is understood and liked quite easily by the great majority...

Me i already face it, that's the truth!and the truth force me to be very grateful that Jamiroquai still doing music, it's fine for me that they can't compete with today's music as long as i'm still have them!Everybody has their time, and now it's a junk time!Somehow i feel sad that they put JMQ at the same chart with them, because i think that they're not the same level , but maybe we don't know the truth maybe it's just the game playing by the big labels as i notice or what i'm hearing from the most songs dominates the radio stations .. it's just a business baby!

That's just sad. :(

Well,I think those are good songs, but I still wonder why they're failed. Compared to any junk on the top charts, these are gems. Maybe 5 years gap is too long for release something new. Or maybe crappy stuffs always get more attention.

it's harder when that "crappy stuff" is exactly the kind of music this generation likes, so
but according to wikipedia (which i don't know if it's right or wrong) the album didn't pick such low positions!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Dust_Light_Star and according to funkin.com RDLS reached no 5 on the UK charts!! http://funkin.com/news/4044
white knuckle ride, for example: picked a good position in portugal, italy, finland, japan, netherlands..

ps: for other jamiroquai singles here is the chart:
