Let Jamiroquai take you on a White Knuckle Ride. Come here to talk about anything related to the new album...|
I love it! Jays voice does sound heavier raspier, but it gives a nice effect alongside the Rob's guitar and Paul's bass, it is clearly FUNKY remember there are different variations of what funk is!
YES IVY SORRY...........
FIRST MY ENGLISH IS BAD
SECOND I KNOW THAT IN THIS PAGE ALL SAY THE SONG IS OK, BUT I WANTED TO COMMENT WITH YOU THE OTHER PART OF FANS WHO DON'T LIKE IT!!!OR DON'T ACCEPT THE CHANGE!
JUST THIS...MY COMMENT WAS NOT A CRITICS TO YOU GUYS...JUST A PERSONALLY CONSIDERATION!!!
BUT I SAY SORRY TO EVRYBODY!!!!
I THINK IT'S BETTER TALK ABOUT THIS THAN WRITE...IT'S EASIER TO UNDERSTAND ..WHAT DO YOU THINK IVY?
YES I AGREE WITH YOU ,MUSIC IS ART....OBVIOUSLY!!!!
Hi Pippis, I understand your english fine! youre doing well ,
I know where ur comin from , the negative vibes towards the new sounds are all around the forums, the exception maybe this one...for now. I think you are just venting at those fans from those forums who are expressing those views,... a clash was definatly going to happen. I've kind of avoided talking in those forums for now, theres no winning ...like a song says " rumours and bullshit don't resolve sh*t" lol

yeah I know -I am glad it is still all kinda positive here in this little corner of jamiroquaiforums.
you just gotta ignore it.everybody is entitled to their opinion. people like to have a rave.
so is anybody else playing this track like non stop!???
love that guitar sound!!!
yes it is! Let's keep it positive like BEP says. And then hop on over to Jtalk to add some light!
I like this song than the Blue Skies!Ha! though they both are so non-Jamiroquai, this is different but good! See i already heard RDLS,WKR,Blue Skies,Hurtin' and getting to reveal (a liiiittle bit) what's the concepts of the album is all about ..
That's harsh! Just a different genre! But it is a good song.
The best artists have different avenues of expression.
I wonder if anybody ever criticized the great Marvin Gaye for his different styles through the years?
Played live for the first time in London.

When I heard this song, I thought, wow, well, it reminds me of all the times relationships in my life have gone wrong. And in retrospect, it was almost always over trivial things. I kept listening to "Hurtin'" several times and thought, ok, time to make this familiar pain stop. I chose to think instead that today is a good day. I chose to think that it's ok to feel hunger, desire and gratitude for being alive. When we are young, we will stop at nothing to get our way. But we never stop long enough to do nice things for others. So much emotion, just from a song. Thank you Jamiroquai!
