Want to buy it right now. Is it available somewhere to U.S. fans?

Yeah! What an album! You can certainly tell they're "free". Theyve mashed up a bit of TWM fast-funk and some reggae/ska, some funky 70s bass that makes you laugh and point and shake your finger in the air.

The brass sounds great but my only criticism is... that sax solo sounds too perfect; like as if the solo alone was over produced. It just needed to be a bit louder and more brash, a bit more, you know, like a real sax sound, smokier. I can't remember which song it is because all the songs are still a big mash of genius reeling round my mind!

Can't wait to see this live! Love that song She's A Fast Persuader --- Have a listen and you'll realise what Jay's been doing all this time between albums HAHA! Rude!

Feeling the love!

gave it a few listens..though i was amased by "Two Completely Different Things", i didn't felt any emotion or special vibe in that one.
maybe i should try it in some sort of mood or place, like the rest of the albums.

but the brass and strings in this one are very impressive :)

i should try play Two Completely Different Things on my bass, the new album got some nice basslines.

I got my deluxe edition today from amazon.co.uk. It is digipack and it is fantastic. It has 6 bonus tracks which brins the length of the CD near 78 minutes.

Deluxe edition is only one disc by the way...

I will write my review in a couple of days...

Take care everyone.

I remember waiting for TWM to be released in the U.S., Yet the radio had played the songs.
How did they get the songs?

Are we waiting for a release in the U.S. or should they have it?

Rock Dust Light Star does not disappoint, its funky and Jay uses his voice differently on several tracks, it appears to pay homage to Marvin Gaye's Trouble Man. Fantastic, shame they never
got a Brit! Its never too late!

Really? Trouble Man is an awesome song btw.
You think RDLS pays homage to Marvin Gaye? In what way? (specifics  )

Hmmm. Awesome. I actually never saw the movie "Trouble Man". And I don't own the soundtrack.
(and I say he's my fav!)
But I previewed it, and maybe!
"T stands for Trouble", maybe Smoke & Mirrors.
"Life is a Gamble" maybe RDLS intro
"Deep in It" maybe "She's a Fast Persuader"
(I only heard snippets..)

"Trouble Man" maybe, maybe, a little "Goodbye to my Dancer"
But some similar elements from the 70's. I need to buy the soundtrack.

I'm not sure how much Marvin influenced them. Is Marvin one of Jay's or the band's favorites?
Between Jay and Marvin's singing style, I'd say they're different. But the music maybe an influence.

And some of Marvin's music, would it be Dirge?, or whatever that interview went "I don't like anything wet, sappy"!
