Re: Debut Londonhow often did u listen to it?
with everytime i listened to it made me love it more...there is also a better quality version out there now...so parts of teh lyrics are understandable...so cool...maybe it´s just me being a " believer" haha i was missing the WOW factor if u want to say so aswell after one time listening..reminds me of that i skipped travelling without moving on the cd when i heard it the first time ... very curious about the cd version!

Re: Debut Londoni really don't like it! i mean, there's no groove on it!
the drum beats are not from a funky song, i just don't know! but its so nice the song is having a good reception on you guys! i'm so glad you all like it! let's see what the album brings! ![]() keep on groovin' Ed!
Re: Debut London...i'm glad i'm not the only one!

Re: Debut LondonYou know, it really reminds me of some (soul) music from the 80's. It is really a good song.
And I like the approach of keeping the bass, with the electronic sound. Classic and Modern Jamiroquai together. I think it is smoother than you'd expected. Maybe you wanted more Punch. But it is really a well-written song. It'll grow on you. ![]() I can't put my finger on the song it reminds me of....
Re: Debut London
A reject Dynamite song ![]() Heres my post from Jtalk.
It's like, Where's the funk?
Re: Debut Londonthe thing with me is that, I don't feel any funk!
there's no groove on it! very empty to me! doesn't mean anything! I remember how much I loved "Time Won't Wait" when they released Dynamite! The feeling with that track is just awesome, not "overproduced"! Very simple and catchy (Now i'm defending the "Dynamite" album and era, OMG) but this is not: "getting back to the roots", I don't find anything like that on the first albums! maybe getting back to the roots meant adding a brass section, who knows, maybe I misunderstood! but that's their song and i see they're catching the fans! good for them then! hope the other album songs are cool as TWW!
Re: Debut LondonHead over to the Homepage Blog and give your thoughts on the new "paperless" ticketing processing experiences you may have felt from the Debut London gig. Your thoughts and opinions are being desired...although I think most have already been expressed.
Quote from the Homepage Blog: "And please tell us what you thought of the ticketing system? It was the first time we tried paperless ticketing and we thought it went OK - what do you think?" Re: Debut LondonWell... there's one thing that must be said here... Jamiroquai is not really hard funk. Jamiroquai are a pop band with some slightly original sounds, ocasionally taken as funk/groove. But let's face it, there's a HUGE path before claiming: this is funk...
That's why I think this new song actually fits Jamiroquai ![]()
Re: Debut LondonFull version of "Rock Dust Light Star"
http://tinyurl.com/2em5ada Excellent sound quality in the video! I think it's much better in full force! ![]()
