Ahhh, they must be pleased to be playing at home again, after all, London was where it all started.
And Jay is in eccentric headgear again, I thought he had stopped used feathers and stuff since the Dynamite Tour, and went for regular hats.
Fortunately we are going to have a small Jamiroquai Tour in Europe this summer, great to have some activity after 5 years of partying and cars.
I read the set list. They didn't play any new song for this big show !! not even the one they play 2 days before in London. Why, have you got an idea ?
If they must play like this, for the followings concerts before their album it's a shame
Mercury Records looks like not very cool. Jamiroquai must be free to do what he wants to sing !
They signed with the record label recently, when the whole album was almost ready. Jay had said that previously, that he wanted to make the album without a record deal, no have to pressure whatsoever.

Hey Fra, you cut me out on the group photo!!! I was standing at the extreme left.
But that's not tragic!
Well, what do I have to say other than that the Jamiroquai concert was good and the Stevie Wonder concert was marvellous, dancing my feet off and singing on some of my favourite music and of course meeting some dear friends, old ones and new faces!
Funny fact is, that some of the older Jamiroquai songs have been transposed a few notes lower, so I could actually sing the same notes as Jay did!!! No more falsetto or singing an octave lower than Jay!
Anyway, it was a great time in London again. Other than the gig, I also had the "honour" to watch the English football defeat in a pub close to Leicester Square, this in company of a German and a French friend!
Some of the English fans didn't lose their courage, even after their defeat they took a bath in a fountain at Trafalgar Square!!!
Finally I want to point out that some photos of mine will follow, I'm just not at home at the moment where my main computer stands with my pictures saved on it.
New photos posted to the Official Jamiroquai flickr page from Hyde Park:
Excellent photos taken by our very own David Rowe. My favorite one is below.
