This is the place for the Cosmic Girls and Space Cowboys to chat about subjects that are not related to Jamiroquai. Subjects that don't quite fit in the Funktion Room should also be posted here. Introduce yourselves to one another in here.

I'd definitely only buy an expensive handbag if it was on sale. And I actually don't think I could have justified paying $300 to see Madonna in concert. It's a lot to pay even for Jamiroquai!

so, I'm always babysitting my 5 year old's babies! yesterday she said she had triplets. I said one was a bear. she said one died so she adopted a bear! Later she decided to give me a back massage. She said: "you only have to give me a quarter, cuz I know you don't got any dollars" and then when she was karate chopping my back, it hurt, so I kept saying "ouch", she said "hmmm, maybe I shoulda taped her mouth shut!" like I wasn't there! I really don't know where she gets half her material!

Wow Giba she sounds very assertive!.....I'd do as she says! So I am at work and a very lovely but pleasantly confused resident with dementia comes out for dinner in a very tall russian style hat (stylish from her generation) but a little odd with her outfit....so in itself it was a little humourous. Of course we gushed over how marvelous she looked.....a young male employee asked if he could see the hat....he took it off her head and low and behold she had stored a pair of panties in the top! ....we were respectful and contained our laughter but I did tell the young stud that he should learn from her.....always wise to carry a spare!

omg!! very funny! I did lol! I loved seeing my grandma. She lived to 95. She didn't move into a home until she was about 90. The ones that still have it are hilarious. She was a whipper-snapper! But its so sad when there are struggles with day to day activity.

So CosmicLea was talking about her winter. And I said wasn't that festival in summer? Y'know, the one Jamiroquai just played at. And she said that was New Year's Eve!! almost 7 months ago! And well I guess time sure flies, and I guess I'm not obsessed with remembering every detail about Jamiroquai and when they've performed. but really, have had a really bad sinus headache all week and can't thinkdon't worry, it'll be winter here soon.

It's on a cable channel though, which I don't have!

Hehehe, I forgot to say there was a little review of "Dance Moms" in the TV guide and from that I gathered it was trash!! My daughter's dance school is civilized too. And they have over 200 girls!

200 is a lot! I think the show was created (in U.S.) to exploit this one particular group. The moms look like they never sleep!

so the friend who I made the mixtape for years ago has written back (he was a friend's friend, I didnt' date him)and he likes to chat! he lives in Austria today, and loves Jamiroquai too. the mixtape includes RHCP, Beck, Rage, Tool, Janis Joplin, En Vogue, Jane's addiction, and Marvin Gaye, and he says I introduced him to MG! he says he remembers listening to the entire Mellow Gold Beck cd in my car! he remembers this guy we hung with from back then, (he was the son of BTO's singer.) and today he prefers to buy vinyl! Blast from the past!

Heeey I like it! But I would prefer a dark color for the apron and a white logo!
