For non-English speakers to talk about all things Jamiroquai and more. If you speak Spanish, Italian, German, French (or any other language) then this is where it Feels Just Like It Should...

Hello. After many many requests, I'm happy to announce that we now have a home for non-English discussion. I hope that you enjoy your time here. Thank you.
David
PS. Sorry that I posted this in English - I don't speak Spanish, Italian, French...

Excellent, but somebody needs to move the Balkanski JAM! topic into this section.
----
Also, I find this to be a sort of problem:
What if a fight breaks out in a topic, and there's no moderator who actually speaks the language of the topic in which the fight broke out? What about having a moderator or two per language - or two languages per moderator (If the person speaks min. 3 languages, including English...)? Is this a good idea?

Thank you for linking to the topic you wanted moving. I have now moved it over. Knjaz Milos wrote:Also, I find this to be a sort of problem:

Yes, this is an issue where we don't understand the languages all the time. I need to confirm with the existing moderators what languages they can understand and then maybe we will need to introduce additional moderators into this forum.

It really is, 'cause the international topics were scattered all around the place... It's MUCH easier to find the Balk. Jam now...

I agree, Knjaz Milos.
And you are right about the moderators. Hope we will resolve peacefully who the moderator for the Balkanski Jam will be.

The poll is good, very democratic way to resolve it. I don't mind. Whoever. I like you all a lot and I'm very happy to have met you.

And although ABU MOSLEM has an Arabic name, with a very noble meaning - which he thoroughly deserves, I have never encountered another Arabic speaking person here. Please remember that I am a native English speaker, but I have used Arabic as my first language for the last 20 years of so.
In Arabic culture, an Arabic person is defined by their mother tongue and not their place of birth or nationality. It is a surprise to some people to discover that the Sudanese and Mauritanian peoples are Arabs. Being Arab has no connection to religion either. The percentage of Christian Arabs is as much as 45% in some Arabic countries, and there a large communities of Jewish Arabs too, Muslim Arabs consitute the majority in the Penninsula Arab Populations.

Thanks for sharing this with us. It was very interesting for me to read, since I like hearing about how people live, about their culture, customs...
