We're Too Young to Die

Postby Giba7 on Tue Mar 01, 2011 6:38 pm

This song was released March 1st 1993. Today is 18 years later!
I didn't know this song back then. It's too bad. I would've praised it!
It's a great song, questioning the way of the world and the establishment.
Anger toward World governments and technology.
Wake Up. Save the people.

And now being older, watching the instability in the Middle East;
What do we do? Do we choose our governments to intervene and butt our nose into their business?
Or stand back and watch, what we don't see won't hurt us?
How do you resolve conflict? How to save the people?
What is the most humanitarian way?

I didn't know the song back then either Giba. I feel cheated when it comes to Jamiroqua...but that's another story.

It's an awesome song.......Those questions that you ask are complicated, to say the least. There's no one answer. Each situation may call for a different solution/reaction. Some situations call for an uprising, while others may actually call for what I will call the "Dr. King" approach...peaceful demonstration/resistance. But whatever the chosen path - it can never, ever be complacency. That's not an option....

My two cents......
