Gavin, Simon or Rob - Your choice?!

Postby FunkODYSSEUS on Fri Dec 28, 2007 4:00 pm

I like Simon, but definitely Gavin is the best, he is my favourite...As for Rob, I think he has to rocky style for being a Jamiroquai guitarist :D :D :D

So what if Robert has a rocky edge? Funkadelic are known widely as a funk band, yet their early stuff was psych/acid rock. I'll be very happy with anything that the band puts out as long as it's listenable.

Thats correct but Jamiroquai is not Funkadelic...They both experimented funk but in different directions...But when I mean ROCKY I mean the rock that we hear today, its all pop, but in general I dont want rock in Jamiroquais music :D :D :D

If Jamiroquai is 'rock' I'm David Coverdale!!! More like "rockin'" deep dirty funk lol! Why label? ...it's just good stuff.
Rob...? He's too nice to be a rocker just a damn good guitarist .x

Kind of hard to label Jamiroquai ...they're kind of all over the place. There are many genres of rock and when they do it, like everything else, they do it well!

I think High Times is a brilliant single and sounds quite rocky. And this definitely comes through on the album (twm). Still its FUNK! I like all the jamiroquai guitarists and i love jamiroquai :P
