Jamiroquai hidden in the media

Did you get any feedback from your friend about the mixed JMQ cd yet, Curse_t?

He's only listened to the first song which was Little L He liked it! I'll let you know if he likes the rest. After stating that I never find JMQ in the media......low and behold I put on the radio on itunes and under the "ambient" heading there is a station called "Absolutely Jamiroquai" !!! I freaked...right now they are playing "The kids" .....Check it out on itunes

I gave cd's to my sister over a year ago.
She now raves about all the "Jamiroquai cd's" I gave her!

And yes, I've heard their tunes on American Idol, & once on a radio commercial recently!
Just waiting for Glee to cover them!

That's great Giba! My sister says she'll come with me to see JMQ if they ever tour here again(!) but I haven't managed to make her into a huge fan like me (though I've given her JMQ cd's too).

My husband found an internet radio station that just plays The Beatles a few years ago and I remember thinking to myself it would be awesome if there was a radio station dedicated to playing Jamiroquai only! Thank you so much for finding this! **Cyber hug sent your way!

Curse_t - you should start a new thread for this JMQ radio station (because you found it!) I'm sure the JMQ fans on here will be thrilled to know it exists.

I guess you have to have an apple computer. itunes is a media player program where you can store, play, download music and videos, plus worldwide radio.......it's plugged into my igloo

The Absolutely Jamiroquai radio station is fantastic, but I haven't heard any songs from RDLS played.
Also, I did find it in my iTunes just like Curse_t said, I clicked on the Radio heading and it was in the "Ambient" category.

and the 2nd song was a cover of "Space Cowboy" by Eve St. Jones!

Just heard Little L on the radio! I sent the radio station an e-mail to thank them for playing Jamiroquai!

The "Content Director" from the radio station sent me an e-mail back, thanking me for my feedback! He said "old faves like Jamiroquai were making a comeback" on the station so to keep listening! Unfortunately it's a lesser known radio station here (not one of the popular commercial ones) but if they play more JMQ I'll be happy!

I notice more JMQ songs are used for commercials for movies that are shown on the telie. Weirdest thing is that the songs have nothing to do with the movie what so ever.

double Click on the little radio symbol on left (6 down)
double Click on "Ambient" in the window, (3 down)
double Click on "Absolutely Jamiroquai" (12 down in stream of 174)
hopefully you get there!

Oh, thanks Giba, you're very nice but you know... I precisely don't have AbsolutelyJamiroquai... The 12th radio station under "Ambient" (only "34 flux" btw) is called "DI.fm Lounge"... But don't worry, I downloaded it... so it's under "Music" now...
