High all, Sorry Jay you ain't the first nor the highest. The Danish band called Kashmir did a gig at 36,000 feet in a boeing 737 in 2003. Nice hype though.[/b]

sorry folks although there is no actual proof of this
zz tops, the only band contracted to perform in space through nasa did a test show in a shuttle on the ionosphere in the early 90's
I am told they playe 1 song thus making it the highest and dare i say it fastest gig ever

WRONG. ZZ's gig doesn't count because it was outside of Earth's atmosphere. It can break the "concert held the farthest away from planet earth" record, but certainly not the "highest gig" one. There's no sense of up and down in space...

you're right Knjaz Milos .
they need to get a Guiness price for the firts gig in space
the highest one ( in space ) and the fastest one ( in space )
hahahahahhahhahahahahha lol
well.. wait !!!!!!!!! if jamiroquai got a guiness... they got a guiness cause they deserved it !!!!! they wouldn't have gotten the price if they hadn't deserved it !!!!

yeah if you want a record attempt to be recognized you have to apply for a guiness adjudicators to come and confirm that it actually happened
which ZZ top obviously didn't or the gig in the sky wouldn't be a record breaking attempt
